Review: Etude House Moonlight in Spoon: Blending Sleeping Cream in Royal Jelly

Sunday 20 April 2014
Annyeong, lovelies! How are you? I'm sorry for not being able to update so much these days as I've been busy with assignments.

Anyway today is just gonna be a quick review on this product that I tried I think I last week as I've been lack of sleep so extra care during night time is something that I've been giving attention to.

Moonlight in Spoon Blending Sleeping Cream in Royal Jelly. Whao~ still the most mouthful product's name ever!

Packaging:

'Firm and Moist' just scream to me like "Mira! Come to mama!" hahaha lame~

Overall, the packaging is the same as others from the same line like Rose Hip that I previously reviewed. Yellow is definitely royal jelly. hehe

Product description:
This is a Blending Sleeping Cream containing Royal Jelly extract, Lavender Flower Leaf and Stem Extract, Chamomile and Mint.
Blend together Sleeping Cream's golden herb water-gel and richly nourishing cream contents to deeply moistuirise and firm skin overnight for a bright moonlight-like complexion.

Be sure to check the manufacturing date on the packaging. :)

Royal Jelly!
Royal jelly contains amino acids which is also a basic ingredient in collagen, which is essential in maintaining the skin's firmness by supporting the skin's connective tissue. Because of its ability to aid in supporting this tissue, royal jelly often helps to reverse the effects of aging in the skin by eliminating brown spots, also known as "age spots," as well as wrinkles.

Before and after blending.

How to use:
Squeeze paper cover to slightly open up and remove enclosed spoon.
Remove sealing cover slowly starting from the end of spoon handle
Break off the spoon from pack container and evenly blend together golden herb water-gel and cream with spoon's smaller end.
Pick up blended Sleeping Cream with hands and apply evenly a certain amount onto face.
Wear overnight and rinse off with lukewarm water the next morning.

Texture and Scent:
As expected, the texture is the same as Rose Hip, as it's quite thick and creamy. The product doesn't absorbed into my skin quickly as I have to wait like half an hour before I can go to sleep.
The scent though is quite pleasing. Really nice and soothing.

Final verdict: 4.5/5. I love this variant as well as I remember waking up with firm and smooth skin the next morning.

Why not full score? Because it's quite pricey. RM9.90 per item is expensive if you ask me. Which is why I guess I'm going to opt for the one in jar instead of this. But of course, it's always fun to try new products for one time or for travel.

Will I repurchase? Of course. If there's sale in local Etude House store here in Malaysia like Buy 1 Free 1 or something. hehe

I think that's all for this review. Do share if you guys tried this variant, okay! I do want to know your favourite sleeping mask as well.

I'll see you guys next post, au revoir!
